January Update!!
Hello friends! I hope you all had am amazing holiday season!
Its incredibly hard to believe that it is 2025! December flew by like the rest of the year so lets catch up!
I am learning that every month of ministry looks a bit different from others! This month was filled with a lot of Christmas festivities and fellowship! Every Christmas the birth of Jesus becomes more exciting for me. What a hopeful celebration his birth brings! Im thankful that I got to celebrate with old and new friends.
We had our UTA Christmas formal! These are some of the girls from my core!
Me and Helen!
We also had our corefa Christmas party! We did a gameshow night and it was so fun!
I went with some students to go watch the meteor shower that was happening! It was so sweet, and it led to a spontaneous trip to Buc-ees!
This is one of my favorite photos of all time now! There is a local coffee shop that a lot of out staff and students go to. I looked up from what I was working on to see multiple conversations happening between different pairs of people. The Spirit made it so clear in that moment just how much he is moving here. I am so thankful for this community and how much the name of Jesus is spoken in passing conversations.
We had our staff Christmas party!! I absolutely love getting to see all our staff from different campuses!
This is our UTA staff (missing bailey who was serving on a mission trip in kenya) I am so fond of them. They are incredibly thoughtful, compassionate and some of the funniest people I have ever met! It is so sweet to work with them.
Also such an honor to get to do the apprenticeship with these guys! I am excited for our classes to start back up!
I also got to spend part of Christmas Eve with my friend, roommate and co-worker Bailey! We attended a Service at a local church together and got coffee afterwards!
Also got to see my sweet nephew Cooper for Christmas! He has quite the personality!
I have to share these photos of my dad! My truck has had a lot of issues lately and he always shows up! We also connected the dots recently and figured out that we work pretty close to each other when I am in Garland for classes! We got to meet up and see each other and plan on doing lunch occasionally!
Every time I write these blogs I am thankful I take so many photos but also realize how many photos I take!! I hope that you see fruit from your support in campus ministry! I am incredibly thankful. I am so excited to see what God will do in 2025!
Happy New Year!
Praying for you always,
Madison
