June Update

 Hello Friends

Wow! What a school year it has been! God has been nothing but faithful and fruitful! I have been spending a lot of time reflecting with God about this past year and there really aren't words to encapsulate
how much gratitude I feel for all that he has done. 

I want to extend a deep appreciation for those of you who are reading this. You each have made this year possible through prayer, financial and loving support! One of the best parts of ministry is that we get to do it with each other. I am so thankful for those who have helped send me to Arlington. Not only do I love what I do, but I love who I get to do it for. God. I have gotten to experience his character of generosity through each of you and I am so thankful! 

With that let's recap the last month of my apprentice year!! (I am officially graduated lol!)

As summer is approaching our time with students will be looking a lot different! We will spend a lot of time just hanging out at the pool, playing volleyball and going for ice cream... but  ministry never stops. Community revolves around Jesus and for that I am so thankful! Most of the girls I meet weekly with don't live in the metroplex so I have the opportunity to meet with new people! 

Lawn Games:

For the last night of students being on campus we decided to host a lawn games night! It was sweet getting to be together one last time for the school year! I may or may not have teared up on my way home!


Graduation!

Several of our students graduated this year! I am so excited and praying over them as they continue to be disciple's of Jesus in new places! Mia (left photo) is headed to UNT to pursue her master and plans to work on college campuses in the future! She loves Jesus and loves the way campuses provide students an opportunity to know him! Ana (right photo) is headed to work as an engineer and I am so excited to see how she invites Jesus into her work place. She has led a engineer bible study this year and will be continuing to help with that! 




Just Married!!

2 of our students got married this month! Josh and Alisa met in the ministry a few years ago! Their love for Jesus and each other is something that is so sweet! 


Maymester Focus! 

A group of our students hosted weekly gatherings for the month of may! They prepared the sermons, worship, discussion questions and even had snacks! This is the 2 year of this and it was created by one of our students after realizing how lonely breaks can be! 




And thats a wrap!

I have had the honor of doing the apprenticeship with these awesome guys! (from left to right: Mick, Alex, Me, CK, Paul). We have gotten to grow and learn together! We made it through 50 hour work weeks and read the whole bible (I am ready for summer lol!) Overall I am so thankful for them and super excited that their all staying on staff! 




Prayer request:

I am officially in fundraising season and would love prayer over that! I have about $2000 a month left to raise but I am trusting God as my provider! If you know of anyone who would be excited about campus ministry please let me know!

Hello Friends! Let's talk about January! Wow!! What a month! I feel like normally January last forever, but this one flew by. I think this has been my favorite month of ministry so far and I think God is doing some really exciting things! Winter Retreat! Every year our entire ministry comes together for winter retreat! It is a time of sermons, fellowship and lots of fun! This was my third year attending and getting to see what all goes into it from a new perspective just adds a whole new level of appreciation for those who plan it! From across our campuses we had around 700 in attendance! Praise God !  The week after retreat all I could reflect on was the story about Jesus feeding the 5000. I really got to see how much he can do with our "small" efforts. I think to the worlds standards, my small group of 8 girls wouldn't been impressive, but to God? Its so exciting! August Ministry Update!

Hello friends!!  Welcome to my first blog post! August has flown by but God is moving. August is one of the busiest months for college ministry as freshman are arriving and there are so many events put on by the campus and Focus!  Let's dive into this past month! August 1st started off with a boom! I had my first day of apprentice classes (we have been reading through the Old Testament) and we had our licensing ceremony. This is a photo of me and the other apprentices.   The next week we left for staff retreat where we all gathered to rest, and discuss the year ahead. It was honestly emotional for me being there and knowing that the people around me have such a heart for Christ and these students.   After staff retreat I spent a week in classes and then it was time to head into welcome week! May Update

 Hello Friends! April has truly been such a sweet month of ministry at UTA! The end of the year has approached and our students has their first finals starting April 30th! I am really in awe of the Lords goodness this past year. He is benevolent, kind and full of love and grace! It has been so encouraging to see how he has changed the lives of so many this school year and it only makes me more eager for what he will do next year at UTA and TCC!  With that there was a lot that happened as we are ending the 2024-2025 school year with our ministry... so let's recap! First I want to take a moment to share about our staff! I have had the honor to serve UTA alongside these amazing people! They have invested years into the ministry here and I really love working with them! We are headed into a pretty big transition this next year as we are gaining 3 apprentices, but saying bye to two of our longest serving staff at UTA!
