August Ministry Update!

 Hello Friends!

I am so happy you are here! For those of you who are new here welcome to my ministry blog! This is where I post monthly updates on what God is doing on the campuses of UTA and TCC! So many sweet and fun things happened in the month of July so let’s recap!


Licensing Ceremony 

As I now transition into the role of being on staff full time, myself and several other staff got to make public commitments to our students that we are going to serve on the college campuses for a amount of time. This is a commitment not only to our students, but to our fellow staff. Most importantly it is a commitment to God and an invitation that he would be the one guiding us these next years. I am so grateful to be here and elated to make a commitment like this knowing that God is working in every moment, every person, and every conversation. 
“ And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” Colossians 3:17

 Our entire apprentice group from this past year is staying on and I am so excited to keep working with them! 

It was also our last summer focus of the year so it was so sweet to get to worship with all the campuses one last time before the school year kick off! We have gone through a sermon series over the promises of God and it has ministered to so many people! The first one we covered was the promise that God is with us, and I plan to hold onto that promise as we enter this new school year! 









4th of July parade!

I got to attend the City of Arlington 4th of July parade with some of our students and members of our church! One of my favorite parts of ministry is getting to do things with others. We saw some awesome floats, laughed a lot, and got to cheer people on!







Trip to Houston

One of my students I got to meet with this past year lives in Houston. I got to go down to visit her this month and it was so sweet! She got to share places of her life, and we had so much fun exploring the metroplex! We went with her family to the Astro’s game and had a blast! I am so excited to keep meeting with her this next year!

As always I want to thank you guys for being part of what God is doing here on these campuses. I wouldn’t be here without you. Getting to partner with you is something that has been so meaningful. I am looking forward to sharing the fruit from this next year and hope you can see the work God will do this year!

August: Welcome week is just around the corner and we are kicking off the school year this month! Will you join me in praying that God would work in awesome ways and that we would meet so many new students?

 Hello Friends! April has truly been such a sweet month of ministry at UTA! The end of the year has approached and our students has their first finals starting April 30th! I am really in awe of the Lords goodness this past year. He is benevolent, kind and full of love and grace! It has been so encouraging to see how he has changed the lives of so many this school year and it only makes me more eager for what he will do next year at UTA and TCC!  With that there was a lot that happened as we are ending the 2024-2025 school year with our ministry... so let's recap! August Ministry Update!

Hello friends!!  Welcome to my first blog post! August has flown by but God is moving. August is one of the busiest months for college ministry as freshman are arriving and there are so many events put on by the campus and Focus!  Let's dive into this past month! August 1st started off with a boom! I had my first day of apprentice classes (we have been reading through the Old Testament) and we had our licensing ceremony. This is a photo of me and the other apprentices.   The next week we left for staff retreat where we all gathered to rest, and discuss the year ahead. It was honestly emotional for me being there and knowing that the people around me have such a heart for Christ and these students.   After staff retreat I spent a week in classes and then it was time to head into welcome week! February Update!

Hello Friends! Let's talk about January! Wow!! What a month! I feel like normally January last forever, but this one flew by. I think this has been my favorite month of ministry so far and I think God is doing some really exciting things! Winter Retreat! Every year our entire ministry comes together for winter retreat! It is a time of sermons, fellowship and lots of fun! This was my third year attending and getting to see what all goes into it from a new perspective just adds a whole new level of appreciation for those who plan it! From across our campuses we had around 700 in attendance! Praise God !  The week after retreat all I could reflect on was the story about Jesus feeding the 5000. I really got to see how much he can do with our "small" efforts. I think to the worlds standards, my small group of 8 girls wouldn't been impressive, but to God? Its so exciting!
