May Ministry Update

Hello Friends!

I hope you are all doing well and having an amazing spring season! Time is flying as the school year is wrapping up here at UTA and TCC! I am feeling so thankful for all that God has done this year and for the ways I have seen him work in the lives of the students I have gotten the privilege to meet with this year. With all that lets talk about the month of April! 



72 Hours of Prayer

For the last several years some of the UTA ministries have banded together to host an event of 72 hours of prayer! We set up a tent with stations and have students volunteer for time slots that go over the course of 3 days! How neat is it that we have someone praying at all times for 72 hours straight! We also end the 3 days with a united worhsip night where we all get together to worship on campus! 



TCC Outreach and service opportunity

For every week this semester we have been doing weekly outreach at TCC northeast! It has been such a gift to see all God has done through that small weekly effort! We got a special outreach opportunity as TCC was hosting their annual Spring Fest! We passed out candy, stickers, school supplies and had a prayer request box! We got to interact with so many students and it was all with the help of several of our current students coming to join us! 

We also had the opportunity to go as a group and volunteer for the Tarrant county food bank! For our small group we were going over core values of our ministry and serving the community was a way we could live those values out! We organized and bagged food that would go out that week to local families in need! 




Last TNF and End of Year Party!

We got to do our last TNF and end of year party with our ministry and it was so sweet! It is the last time our ministry will all be together in the same space as seniors graduate and some students transfer! I am so thankful that our ministry is so expressive about their love for God!

Thank you for joining me in this last school year! I would not be able to be on campus and do what I get to do without your support! This year has produced much fruit that can be seen but also has planted many seeds that I can't wait to see grow and it is all because God and you his people have caught a vision for college ministry!

 Hello Friends! Welcome to the first month of ministry post apprenticeship! I am still in awe of all the work God accomplished this past year! As summer ministry has taken effect I have had time to slow down and really take it all in. I truly love what I do and I am so thankful to be staying in Arlington for another year! June has been such a joyful month and I am excited to share what has been happening! Bridgeway Youth Camp! I had the awesome opportunity to attend Student life camp with Bridgeway as one of the camp leaders this year! It was an amazing week and wow did God move in so many lives. May Update

 Hello Friends! April has truly been such a sweet month of ministry at UTA! The end of the year has approached and our students has their first finals starting April 30th! I am really in awe of the Lords goodness this past year. He is benevolent, kind and full of love and grace! It has been so encouraging to see how he has changed the lives of so many this school year and it only makes me more eager for what he will do next year at UTA and TCC!  With that there was a lot that happened as we are ending the 2024-2025 school year with our ministry... so let's recap! First I want to take a moment to share about our staff! I have had the honor to serve UTA alongside these amazing people! They have invested years into the ministry here and I really love working with them! We are headed into a pretty big transition this next year as we are gaining 3 apprentices, but saying bye to two of our longest serving staff at UTA! August Ministry Update!

Hello friends!!  Welcome to my first blog post! August has flown by but God is moving. August is one of the busiest months for college ministry as freshman are arriving and there are so many events put on by the campus and Focus!  Let's dive into this past month! August 1st started off with a boom! I had my first day of apprentice classes (we have been reading through the Old Testament) and we had our licensing ceremony. This is a photo of me and the other apprentices.   The next week we left for staff retreat where we all gathered to rest, and discuss the year ahead. It was honestly emotional for me being there and knowing that the people around me have such a heart for Christ and these students.   After staff retreat I spent a week in classes and then it was time to head into welcome week!
